What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?
I would love to be a midwife for a day. I’ve always wanted to deliver a baby.
I used to hope that I would be in a situation where pregnant friends or random strangers on the street would go into labour and I would be there to help deliver the baby.
Having had two children myself I know what it means to have good support when giving birth and I would just love to be the one actually giving that encouragement and support. It would be lovely to hand over the baby to the new parents knowing that I wouldn’t be the one having the sleepless nights for the next few years.
It would only be for the day and possibly in reality it would be a lot more traumatic than I imagine. But you never know when it could happen, as it seems to be a regular occurrence on many tv dramas and soaps. Here’s hoping. 😉
